CHRISTMAS BEAUTY TIPS

Top tips to dazzle this Christmas

By Lesley Reynolds

WE ALL love to head off to our Christmas celebrations looking young and feeling fabulous so speedy treatments with top results are essential.
The good news is that with the latest generation of beauty products and minimally invasive procedures you can look and feel 10 years younger without too much hard work.

Here's my best fixes to guarantee you beauty confidence over the festive season.

Lips
Full lips have always been associated with youth and beauty but sadly as we age they lose their plumpness. If you're toying with the idea of fuller lips but feel nervous try the Cinderella Lip treatment, £100.
It's a temporary fix to plump up thin lips which will last for two to three days. A dental block is given and then saline is injected into the lip line giving the lips a natural outline and a fuller pout (020 7436 4441).
Cinnamon, clove and peppermint oils will swell lips temporarily. Dab on every couple of hours to maintain the results.

Body
If you're looking to beat the bloat before a Christmas party treat yourself to the Indiba Detox Body Treatment, from £180.
It lasts 90 minutes and covers the whole body. Using radio frequency it claims to help drain excess fluids, flush out toxins to restore energy levels and leave the skin rejuvenated and toned.
It's good for treating fluid retention and stressed skin. It will also help to perk tired legs (020 8416 3939).
Leading make-up artist Bethany Karlyn has worked with some of the world's most scrutinised women in the world, including Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker and Sharon Stone.
No wonder then that she's created Prtty Peaushun Skin Tight Body Lotion, £25. It lifts and firms while hiding cellulite and stretch marks and disguising varicose veins and bruises.
It's available in four shades and can be used all over the body (020 7235 5000).

Skin
The Dermaroller treatment, from £200, is a super-fast skin rejuvenator and can be used on the face, d©colletage and arms to give skin a youthful glow. A barrel-like hand roller with hundreds of fine needles is rolled over the skin leaving tiny pin pricks.

This is perceived by the body as damage which activates a wound heal response to regenerate the skin, boost collagen levels, treat fine lines and uneven skin tone.

Other skin ingredients such as peptides can be introduced after the treatment to penetrate deeper and leave a radiant glow. Results last up to three months.

To give skin a treat at home cleanse face and neck with Pure Instant Radiance Hot Cloth Cleanser, £9.50, Marks & Spencer (0845 302 1234) for a brighter, tighter, smoother skin.

Teeth
A dazzling smile lights up your face and makes you look years younger. The Deep Bleach Teeth Whitening treatment, from £280, involves the application of a gel to the teeth. It releases oxygen and whitens discoloured sections.
It takes around one hour and results last up to 24 months. (purelyaesthetic.co.uk).
If you don't fancy the salon I recommend Rapid White 1 Week Tooth Whitening System, £8.16. It will whiten teeth up to four shades during treatment, without peroxide (Boots).
HANDY FESTIVE FIXES:
• BOOST flat hair by changing your parting. You'll be amazed at the new body it will provide and it will change your look. ? WEARING your hair off your face? Balance Me Facial Expression Filler, £22, contains acacia gum to soften the appearance of forehead lines (balanceme.co.uk).
• KEEP wonder products by Miss Oops in your bag for emergencies. The Rescue Sponge, £10, fixes disasters from deodorant marks to food spills, while Mishap Tape, £9.50, works its sticky magic holding things together (020 7235 5000)
