TIP TUESDAY: Budge-proof Blush

As tans and sun-kissed glows start to fade, blush becomes more necessary to add that pop of color and life to your skin. So this TIP TUESDAY, we're sharing a tip from Bethany Karlyn that was featured on Life & Beauty Weekly

Prevent your blush from doing the disappearing act throughout the day with this pointer.

Vanishing makeup is frustrating, but fortunately, this one’s an easy fix. Instead of applying one heavy layer of blush, apply two lighter layers along with translucent powder to stop your skin’s oils from breaking down your makeup.

Here’s how:Tap cream blush onto the apples of your cheeks in a circular pattern, then tap and blend it upward and outward. It should be noticeable but not as bright as you’d usually apply it. Next, dust on a light layer of translucent powder with a big fluffy brush to set the makeup. Tap another layer of cream blush on top until you get a color that mimics the fresh, healthy flush you’re looking for.

One exception: If you have very oily skin, swap the second coat of cream blush for a powder in the same rosy shade. Two layers of cream blush may be too much moisture for your skin type.
